Haywood RACE Report: Knute Johnsgaard 2nd at SuperTour Finals

The US SuperTour finals, the U.S. equivalent of the Haywood NorAm Cup are now taking place in Tahoe California, to close out the U.S. ski season. Competing against many of the top American racers, Whitehorse's Knute Johnsgaard finished 2nd, 14 seconds behind Erik Bjornsen of the US Ski Team over the 3.3k skate course. 3rd place went to Mark Iverson of the U.S.
Several other Canadians had good results, including Julien Locke of Black Jack ski club, who was the top junior.
Anne-Marie Comeau of Mont. Ste Anne was 2nd in the junior women's class, 33rd overall in a race that was won by Kikkan Randall.
Friday features 10 and 15k mass start events.
