The Canada Winter Games in Prince George were the second most successful games for Yukon sports in Canada Games history. Cross country skiing, with its 4 medals, contributed to half of the Yukon medal count in Prince George.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the coaches working with CCY who continue to make this success possible for our athletes. Without the dedicated work of all our coaches, the team success would not be possible. I also want to specifically thank the coaches who were in Prince George for the incredible support during the week to our team, it was amazing.
