Final Event of the Season

Hello everyone, I hope you all enjoyed a great spring break with lots of fun activities in the sunshine.

On Tuesday, we will have our last practice/event of the ski season including the volunteer recognition BBQ at 6:00 for all families (see details from Amanda below).

On Tuesday when you arrive from school, we will help out with setting up the stadium.

Next weekend we will also have our year end spring camp on Saturday and Sunday. Complete details will be provided mid-week.

Hope you had an amazing spring break with family and friends!

Huge thank you to Scott Puskas for organizing this year end ski event.

As well as to your squad rep committee who will be setting up for the BBQ.

Most importantly, this Tuesday will be a chance to thank your coaches.  They have done such a fantastic job supporting you this season.  They have dedicated countless hours outside of squad practice time to plan, learn, organize, and talk about purple squad. 

TUESDAY APRIL 4th:  SKATE SKI 

4:30-6:00 

a) find your coach who will be handing out your pinnie

b) 4:30 ski the course in the stadium (lap course for green/blue and shorter course to the finish for orange/purple..see map below)  

c) 4:40 there will be waves of about 10 sprinting around a course full of bumps, jumps and turns!

You will get approx 3-4 opportunities to race around the thrills and spills course.  Come back to the start line after your race, have break, and listen for your colour to be called again as you cheer on others.

d) 5:40 ish you'll make your way back up to the Grey Mt Room for a FAMILY BBQ at 6:00  (as well as an exciting announcement, awards, slideshow, etc...)
