Last Race at the Ski Nationals

It was the last day of racing today with the long distance skate races. The conditions were perfect at the start of the day with firm and fast snow but deteriorated later in the day.

It was another strong day for the Yukon skiers. The following athletes managing to finish in the top ten of their category:

Emily finished 1st in the 30 km mass start in the Open Women
Derek finished 4th in the 10 km mass start in the Juvenile boys
Graham finished 5th in the 50 km mass start in the Open Men
Marcus finished 10th in the 30 km mass start in the Junior Men

In the aggregate club ranking, the Whitehorse Ski Club finished 4th this year.

In the Division standing, the yukon finished in 5th.

Hannah Deuling 5th in the Junior Girl born in 1999
Knute Johnsgaard 9th in the Open Men
Michael Kischuk 9th in the Junior Boy born in 1999
Dahria Beatty 9th in the Open women
