Information for the 2013 Atlin Training Camp
June 28- July 1, 2013
Hello everyone, I am including the information for the
camp in Atlin next week. We will leave on Friday June 28, at 8 am from the Ski
Chalet. We will meet in the parking lot of the Mt-McIntyre Recreation Center
(wax room). For skiers wishing to get a ride from the Carcross Cut-Off, we will
stop there around 8:15 am. Note that we will return to the same location the
following Monday, July 1 in the afternoon
~ 4 pm.

be individual meetings with each athlete.

for a long day hike near Surprise Lake along Ruby Creek. This should be a 4-5
hour day hike up a beautiful alpine ridge. Do some circuit training in the
afternoon.
Monday: Do
a warm up run in the morning followed by an uphill running-hiking test up
Monarch Mountain. After lunch, we will pack the camp and start driving.
What you should bring for the camp:
Bring enough food for 3
dinners, 4 lunches, 3 breakfasts and some snack food to eat during the hikes

water for the group each morning.
