Training this week

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Here is the information for team training this week:

Tuesday Sept 19th:

Duathlon race (roller skiing-running) same course as used in June

4:00 Dahria and Knute to do a short talk in the Race Office

warm up on your roller skis. race course will be marked and flagged.

Make sure to have your roller ski t-shirt and helmet.

5:00 Interval start at 15 sec. like we did in June.

5:30 Warm down

5:45 Pizza with with Dahria and Knute

Thursday Sept. 21th:

Last Heakell Hill test of the season at 4:00

Saturday Sept. 23rd:

Roller skiing in Marsh Lake including intensity and video.

* this week will be a week with 3 intensity workouts s make sure the rest of your week is made of zone 1 and strength.

Leaving at 10:30 and back around 1:45.

Coming events:

Sept. 26th after Squad: Coast Mountain Sports for equipmemt
September 30th: family work party around the Ski Stadium in preparation for the snowmaking!

Sample Training Week 10 hours 


Monday:  1:30 roller skiing with core strength
Tuesday:  1:30 (duathlon)
Wednesday: 1:00 zone 1 running including 20 min of core strength 
Thursday: 2:00 run including test (15-20 min)
Friday:  rest day
Saturday: 2:00 hr roller ski session including intensity 30 min of zone 3
Sunday: 2:00 hr running-circuit-running
