Hello everyone, congratulation on the classic race yesterday! Great Team effort.
Amanda and I will be traveling to Thunder Bay to support the Red Squad skiers in their attempt to qualify for a spot on the National Team going to the various World Championships later this winter.
Here is the Team training schedule for the next week;
Thursday Jan. 3 12:00 to 2:00 pm: ski in skating and do intensity workout on the DS skate race course.
Saturday Jan. 5 12:00 to 2:00 pm: ski in skating and do a time trial
Monday Jan. 7 4 pm to 6 pm: ski in classic and do speed workout
Lois and Jean-Francois will be at practice this coming week.
As the weather has finally warmed up a lot, I would try to do as much skate skiing this week to get ready for the Don Sumanik on Jan. 12 which will be in skating.
