Hello everyone, just to follow up on our discussion before practice on taking advantage of some of the cheaper fares for some of the trips that will take place this winter. Please don't feel that you have to book a ticket for any of these trips. I am providing the information as there is a seat sale at the moment with good fares and that can be an opportunity to save some money.
NORAM in Rossland: the following skiers are eligible based on meeting the selection criteria (qualifying for the Nationals in 2014 and be age eligible). Annah, Hannah D, Hannah S, Natalie, Mira, Alexis, Caelan, Hudson, Marcus, Simon, Mac and Knute.
Departure from Whitehorse on Dec. 10 on Air North flight 505 at 8 am. Return to Whitehorse on Air North flight 535 at 5 pm.
NORAMS in the Callaghan: the recommendation for this trip is to have the older junior and senior skiers who have finished in the top 10 in the open junior or senior categories in NORAM races last year. The skiers targeted for this trip are, Annah, Kendra, Colin, Knute, Marcus and Caelan.
No seat sale seats available after Dec. 16 so the return will be on Sunday night Dec. 21 on Air Canada on flight AC 291 at 9:05 pm.
World Junior Trials in Duntroon: everyone has to meet the selection criteria for this trip. The travel dates will be January 5 to January 12 leaving Whitehorse on flight AC. For skiers qualifying for both the trip and the Western, we would go straight to Canmore for the Western.
Western Canadian Championships in Canmore: everyone has to meet the selection criteria. The travel dates will be leaving Whitehorse on January 14th on flight 507 at 9 am and returning on Sunday January 18th on AC 229 at 7:45 pm from Calgary through Vancouver.
Canada Winter Games: for those who will qualify, the travel will be by charter from Whitehorse.
Nationals in Thunder Bay: everyone has to meet the selection criteria. Travel will be leaving on March 10 on AC 228 at 5:50 am and returning on March 22 on AC 8532 leaving TB at 7:20 am.
