Hello everyone, a quick update from the Eastern Canadian Championships held this weekend near Collingwood, Ontario.
We have completed the first two races of the Championships and so far things have gone well for the team taking part in the races. The wind has been very strong since we arrived at the race venue making it challenging for the race organizers and the athletes. The temperatures were cold yesterday but have moderated a lot today.
Yesterday the junior female and junior male skiers took part in a sprint competition while the juvenile skiers competed in a prologue style race. Tomorrow the skiers will take part in a pursuit style race.
