Hello everyone, I hope most of you were able to enjoy the new snow today on the trails :-)
Here is the training schedule for the week:
Monday at 4: we will ski in classic. Ski without poles for a while to work on weigh shift and balance then we will be doing some speed as a group. The skiers leaving for the Eastern on Wednesday, we will clean and travel wax any classic race skis at the end of practice as well as classic poles.
Tuesday at 4: we will ski in skating and work on 2 skate and 1 skate technique transitions. We will do some speed as a group as well afterward. For the skiers going to the Eastern, we will travel wax race skate skis at the end of practice as well as skate poles.
Wednesday: Skiers and coaches traveling to the Eastern are leaving.
Thursday at 4: ski in skating and do some intensity as a group.
Saturday at 11: ski in classic and do a long slow session (looks like it might get cold again!).
Coming events: Marsh Lake classic on Feb 9 - Tim Horton race on Feb 14 - Mt Lorne classic on Feb 16
