Workout tomorrow and Team Photo

Hello everyone, for training tomorrow thursday, I thought it would be a good idea to do the intensity/race prep. on skate skis to get ready for Sunday's skate race. We have not skated for a while and it may be good to get the legs moving quickly in skating to prepare for Sunday. After a good warm up, I would recommend doing 3 intensities on three different sections of the race course. Anywhere between 2-4 min. in length with rest double the length of the intensity to allow for complete recovery.

As for your ski preparation for the weekend, try to get the glide wax done on both skate and classic skis tomorrow if possible. I would use cold glide wax like Swix CH4 or LF4 or equivalent.

For the weekend, as it is likely to be cold at the start of the races, I would pay special attention to your race preparation. Make sure to do a good warm up close to the start of your race. Change into dry clothes before your race so that you feel warm for the start of your race, then all is left to do is to enjoy a great effort in the race and let the outvote take care of itself.
