Sport Psychology

Amanda and I met with Tracey Bilsky yesterday to discuss our sport psychology initiative this year. Tracey is much busier this year than in past years and her time with the Yukon Ski Team will be limited compared to the last few years. For this reason, we would like to know who is really interested in taking advantage in this initiative. Tracey is only interested in working with athletes that will put in an effort and will do their homework between session. Mental training as any other form of training, is only efficient when somebody invest time and energy into it. No point coming to sessions, if you won't put the time into rehearsing on a regular bases. Tracey will not continue working with skiers who do not demonstrate they are investing themselves into the mental training program.

Please think about it and fill in the following Google document by this Sunday night so that we can start the program soon. The sessions will take place on Thursday from 4-6 pm. Thank you. Alain

PS. Mental training is not for everyone, so don't feel pressure you have to participate. There are no judgement made here, it is just an opportunity!
