Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend.
Here is the information for the camp next weekend;
We are going to do some hiking on both days as there is little snow left at the White-pass Summit. We will hike on Mt-Lorne on Saturday and hike Mt-Hero/Montana Mt. on Sunday. We will also have athlete meetings and review the training plan for the year on Saturday afternoon.
-We will leave at 8:00 from the Ski Chalet and stop at the Carcross Corner around 8:20 for pick up.
-We will start the hike from Bear Creek on the Carcross Road around 9:00. After the hike, we will drive to Carcross to set-up at the Campground.
-On Sunday, we will drive on the Skagway Road to hike the Mt-Hero trail.
-We should be back in town in mid afternoon.
Packing list:
-running shoes, hiking clothes, small day pack, hat, gloves, sunscreen, change of clothes, windbreaker
-sleeping bag, mattress pad, a tent for 3-4 athletes
-food for a breakfast and 2 lunches for the hikes, water bottle and snacks
-I will supply the dinner for the team as well as the stove and boiling water for the breakfast
