- Fundraising opportunity:
All interested parties. We have garbage clean up on Friday, May 23d at 4:00 pm. We will meet at Mt Mac. Should take +\- an hour or so depending on numbers..... Area is Mt Mac parking, around the tennis courts, the road to Pump house/water reservoir, Copper to Sumanik Drive, Sumanik Drive and overflow parking lot (dog). See you all there. Thanks. Sharon
- This is from a family who came up for the Canmore/Whitehorse exchange before:
"Would you know someone in the ski community that could offer us a place to stay (a cabin or basement - we will have sleeping bags etc)? It would be preferable not to have to camp and packing everything up again prior to the start of our hike on Aug. 14th. We are 2 adults, 2 youth and would be in Whitehorse for 1 or 2 nights on Aug. 12/13.
In return I can offer our home here in Canmore if anyone from Whitehorse is planning a visit during the summer (Aug. 9 - 26). Our house will be empty, except for our cat, and people are welcome to stay.
