Good Start for Knute and Dahria at the World Under 23 Championships in Almaty

It was a great start for Dahria and Knute earlier today while they both competed in the individual classic sprint in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was also a great opportunity for Annah to get her very first International race under her belt.

Knute got the best placing of all Canadian taking part today finishing 14th in the men's U23 field. Dahria was the best Canadian amongst the 3 Canadian taking part, finishing 20th in the women's U23 field. Annah got to start her International career with a 45th position in the Junior Women, not as good as she was hoping but still a good start to build on.

Annah will be the next Yukon skier to race as she will be competing tomorrow with a 5 km skate race which should suit Annah's skill much better than the sprint.
