Today was the last race for the U23 athletes at the World Championships. Knute skied a solid race finishing the 30 km skiathlon race in 33rd position. Dahria who was fighting stomach cramps prior to the start of the race did not finish her 15 km skiathlon race.
Both Dahria and Knute were nominated for the European B Tour that will take place in the next few weeks in Europe but Knute declined his nomination and will come back to Canada to ski in the Canada Games in Prince George. Adrienne, who is the alternate skier for the women's team will now take part in the CWG.
There is one day left of racing at these Championships, the Junior relay races will take place Sunday in Kazakhstan. Annah is scheduled to race the second leg of the women's 4 X 3.3 km mixed relay in classic. That should be a great experience for Annah. Take care. Alain
