Roller Skiing tomorrow and Heakell Hill

Hello everyone, as the nightly temperatures are falling and the pavement is getting harder in the morning, ski poles tips are starting to slip more than before. I will bring a diamond file tomorrow so that we can sharpen our roller ski tips before the workout. As you noticed last week, there has been quite a few rocks on the Hamilton Blvd Extension lately. I've asked the City if they could sweep one last time before the snow comes, finger's crossed that they will take the time to do it. Everyone should pay extra attention while roller skiing in order to be prepared in case you do ski over a rock!

Finally, I would like to congratulate Derek and Victor for their run yesterday as their times in the Heakell Hill Run were the fastest ever for 14 yr old boys since we started doing the test nearly 20 yrs ago! The team results yesterday were impressive and a good sign leading into the ski season. Good work everyone!

Finally, I saw a funny video of Petter Northug giving a try at pole dancing :-)
