Today was another day of sprinting in classic. This time it was for the younger skiers (junior and juvenile skiers) racing on a 1.1 km loop.
We had 5 Yukon skiers (Dahlia-Amanda-Hannah J.-Mira and Derek) qualifying in the top 30 in the morning to move into the heats later on. Unfortunately, none of them managed to move beyond the quarter final.
The story of the day was the weather which made it challenging for everyone as the conditions changed rapidly and constantly alternating , between heavy snow, sun and everything in between :-)
The final day of racing will take place on Saturday with the mass start races using the skating technique.
