First NORAM race of the season tomorrow

It has been quite the week in Rossland where the temperature has been the major talk around town.

It has been unseasonably mild and wet this past week and a lot of the snow that covered the trails at the start of the week has melted away. Thanks to the many volunteers who have spent endless hours shoveling snow, we will still be able to have some races this weekend. The sprint race that was planned for tomorrow has been replaced by a short distance classic race. The race organizers felt it would have been too dangerous to go ahead with a skate sprint competition so they changed the format to a distance classic race. The classic distance race planned for Sunday will go ahead as planned.

We will send updates tomorrow after the races are over in mid-afternoon. Stay tuned. Alain
