Back to the Regular Training Schedule

Hello everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the holiday and you are ready to start with the regular training schedule.

The start of 2015 will be cold so training will mostly focus on the classic technique until the conditions improve. Make sure to have all your cold weather gear for practice this week.

Training this week;

Monday: ski in classic in small group and do 2 sets of speed work (5 times 12 sec. with 1:00 of rest for each set)

Tuesday: ski in classic and do 3 times 5 min. of double polling for specific strength on terrain that allows to maintain good technique.

Thursday: ski in classic and do a mix of zone 3 and 4 intensity if the weather is above -20 during practice.

Saturday: Long slow ski with technique based on the weather.

Amanda and I will be away for the next 2 weeks for the World Jr/Under 23 in Duntroon and the Western in Canmore.
