Changes to travel Plans

Hello everyone, I have updated the travel plans to reflect the new winter schedule from Air Canada and Air North. Both carriers have made changes to their flight schedule for the winter travel month (November to March). Air Canada will no longer have their early flight leaving Whitehorse at 5:50 am. Instead, the first flight leaving Whitehorse will be at 8:35 am.  As for the last returning flight to Whitehorse. Air Canada's last flight will now return at 20:35. This will impact some of the trip planning that I sent earlier this month :(

Using the latest flight schedule available, here is the updated information:

- NORAM in Sovereign Lake (Dec. 12-13, 2015) Originally, only our three senior skiers were going to attend this NORAM. Now, CCC has decided to include these races as selection races for Team Canada for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Norway in February. CCC has identified three Yukon skiers that are age eligible and have potential to qualify for the team. These skiers are Natalie Hynes, Hannah Deuling and Simon Cash. These skiers now have to attend the second NORAM in order to tryout for the YOG.

The skiers going to Sovereign Lake will fly on Wednesday Dec. 9 from Calgary to Kelowna on Air Canada 8149 at 10:40 am arriving in Kelowna at 10:51.

The return from Kelowna to Whitehorse  will be done on Dec. 13 on AN 546 at 20:00, arriving in Whitehorse at 23:45.
