We are changing the start times for the Buckwheat this Saturday. Alaska Standard Time is applicable.
50KM is 0900
25KM is 0915
10KM is 0930 and
Kids at 1030.
25KM is 0915
10KM is 0930 and
Kids at 1030.
Snow will be soft but slightly firmer with earlier starting times. The race is on. Be ready to howl like the dickens! Owoooooooooooooooooooooooooh!
(Yukon time is plus one hour).
For those of you who are planning on using the diagonal stride technique on Saturday, make sure to pack some red and universal/silver/multigrade type klister as it will be spring skiing on the course :-)
On Thursday, I will have all the classic skis in the wax room for you to clean and wax for the race or for summer storage. Make sure to protect your skate skis with glide wax for the summer.
