Good day for the Yukon in the relays today

The weather was the big story again today. Another blizzard moved into Nuuk this morning complicating the work for the volunteers and making it challenging for the skiers competing.

The 3 female categories competed in strong winds and heavy snow with reduced visibility. The organizer decided to postponed the start of the 3 male categories and wait for better racing conditions. This proves to be a great decision as the conditions were much better for the  3 male categories.

The Yukon added 4 Ulus to its collection;

Junior Male Silver
Junior Female gold
Juvenile Female bronze
Midget Male silver

Last day of racing tomorrow with the skate sprints. Alain
