Training this week

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I just wanted to update everyone on the plan for this week. We will not have official team training until Friday. Everyone should be skiing on their own or with teammates in the next few days. Our first official Team ski will be Friday morning to prepare for the Team Sprint on Saturday. I am just waiting to get a bit more information from the race organizers before I send the complete details for the YST Ski Nationals plans. I should be able to send that out tomorrow during the day.

For skiers coming back from the AWG, the goal should be to focus on recovery as much as possible. We want everyone to be healthy and rested by next weekend. A few easy ski this week is all that is needed. Making sure to get proper sleep, nutrition and rest is the key.

For the non-AWG skiers, this week should be an opportunity to recover and taper from the training of the last few weeks. Remember, to do well at the Nationals, you need to start the week, rested and healthy :-)
