Selection for the 2014 AWG and the Eastern/National Championships

First of all, congratulations to everyone on great racing this past weekend. I was very impressed with how everyone prepared for the selection races and the focus you all showed in getting ready for the races. The Blue Squad program is a great team and you should feel very lucky in being a member of such a great group of individuals. It is one of the stronger team I have coached in years and I want to thank you for all your commitment and dedication to the program and for supporting each other towards excellence.

I know that not everyone has met the criteria for all the trips, but I am very impressed with the improvement that everyone has made.  The reality is that everyone has different goals and expectations, but we remain a strong team with the goal of being the best Yukon Ski Team we can be- in attitude as well as results.

In the next week, I will send details on the various trips so that athletes and their parents can decide on which trip(s) to attend.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the coaches for all their support this year. Have a Merry Christmas. Take care and keep up the great work. Alain
