Update from the Eastern Canadian and World Junior

It was a challenging day of racing at the Canadian Eastern Championships with heavy snow making the trail conditions challenging for everyone. The heavy snow that accumulated during the day made for some interesting skiing conditions :-)

Caelan Mclean 7th in 20 km Pursuit start skate in the Junior Men category

Derek Deuling 5th in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Sasha Masson  23rd in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Victor Emile Thibeault 24th in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Ben Puskas 26th in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Romeo Champagne 32nd in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Nichollis Schmidt 15th in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Michael Kishchuk 19th in the 10 km wave start skate in the Junior Boy (1999)

Sonjaa Schmidt 17th in the 5 km wave start skate Juvenile (2002)

Amanda Thomson 7th in the5.0 km wave start skate Junior Girl (2000)

Hannah Deuling 5th in the 10 km wave start skate Junior Girl (1999)

At the World Junior Championships in Utah earlier today, the relay team from Canada, lead by Natalie Hynes finished in 12th position.
