Good performances in the individual skate races today

Today the focus turned to the skating technique with the individual skate races held in winter like conditions earlier today.

As usual, our expectations are somewhat lower for the team in the skating technique as many of our skiers are better in the classic technique, especially in distance racing.

Graham Nishikawa, who returned from Sochi in the middle of the night, did not miss a beat. He finished 2nd behind Ivan Babikov who also returned last night from the last World Cup held in Sweden. We also had some great top 10 finishes in a few of the younger categories. Here is the result summary for all Yukon skiers;

- Graham 2/59 15 km skate race senior men
- Knute 14/59 15 km skate race
- Colin 15/59 15 km skate race
- Emily 6/33 10 km skate race senior women
