Unfortunately we have had to change plans for tomorrow :(
The groomers got horribly stuck in their vehicle today when going up to the Fraser loop (they had to bring in a loader to get them out! ).
The groomers just got back at 5:00 and did end up packing trail, but in consultation with Jan and Tom (groomers) we feel the risk is too great ask parents/athletes to go up there without chains and without having driven up there to check it out.
The new plan for Saturday is....
10:30 am be ready at chalet with:
-waterbottle
-SKATE SKIS, BOOTS AND POLES (don't stress if you don't have time to change baskets from your rollerski poles. I went out today with rollerski tips and it worked fine)
-change of clothes
10:30 departure for Fish Lake in 4 x 4's (drivers: Dan, Perry, Amanda, Mac). The road is still winter driving conditions up to fish lake.
11:00-12:30: skate ski on Jackson Lake road. Its not great skate ski conditions, but we will get some skiing in!
12:30 depart back to chalet
