It was a fun and hard day for the 130 plus competitors taking part in the Frozen Thunder sprint races earlier today.
All three of our Yukon camp participants had a good day of training. The format was new and different this year as everyone got to qualify and do three heats regardless of how they finished in each heats. The skiers were group by speed regardless of their age or gender. In his last heat, Caelan got to race against Perianne Jones, a 2 time Olympian from Canada. Caelan manage to finished first in his last heat. Annah also won her last heat while Marcus had a good day finishing second in his last heat. All in all, a great learning day as everyone got to race multiple heats and learned from each of their opportunities.
