Today's Tour de Ski skate race was done using the pursuit style format based on yesterday's finishing time after the classic race.
Alex Harvey was standing in 7th position after yesterday's classic race. He managed to hold off most of the skiers who started behind him finishing in 9th by the end of the 10 km skate race. It was quite a feat as he was not feeling good after a tough 30 km race in which he faded near the end.
The races will now move into Germany with a classic sprint race on Tuesday and a classic mass start race on Wednesday.
