Great Sprint Day for Canada at the TDS

It was the best sprint day for the Canadian skiers since the beginning of the 2015-16 World Cup season. For the first time this season, two Canadian skiers qualified in the top 30 to advance to the knockout rounds. Alex Harvey qualified in 13th place while Lenny Vallas qualified in 23rd place. Lenny Vallas managed to moved beyond the quarter final for the first time this year and eventually finished in 10th place. Alex Harvey did not advanced from this quarter final finishing 15th for the day but managed to gain one position in the overall standing of the Tour. He is now in 8th place in the overall standing for the TDS with four of the 8 stages completed.

Tomorrow's race will feature a 15 km mass start classic race for the men.

I hope the return to school went smoothly for everyone. Take care. Alain
