Hello everyone, I hope your exams went well this week and you are all excited to start a new school semester :-)
Just a few reminders to pass along;
For AWG participants, please remember that there is a uniform sizing on Friday at Sport Yukon from 3:30-6:30.
Also, everyone on the Blue Squad has been entered in a team for Saturday's Team sprint rehearsal. The team sprint is a classic technique event and will see skiers ski 3 loops each of a 1.4 km or 1.0 km in length. Everyone should be waxed and ready to warm up at 11:00. Bib pickup will be near the start area in the ski stadium at 11:30. The skiers starting first will ski the 1.4 km loop and the skiers starting second in their team will ski the 1.0 km loop.
Please let me know if you won't be able to make it as I will have to let the race organizers know prior to the start so that we can make changes to the teams.

Hi everyone, please mark your calendar for Friday, January 29th.
We will have the AWG uniform sizing and Flu Shot (spray) Clinic at Sport Yukon.
Please come by the main administration building of Sport Yukon on 4th Avenue between 3h30 and 6h30 on the 29th to try out the beautiful AWG 2016 Uniform. I will be there to help out along with other volunteers.
If you are interested to get your Flu Shot, the Whitehorse Health Centre will have a team of nurses on site at Sport Yukon to offer the Flu Shot (nasal spray) to AWG athletes.
- If the athletes are 13 years old or less, they will need a parent consent to get their Flu shot.
- Athletes older than 13 can receive mature minor consent from the nurse giving the spray.
